Cashier

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role.

The Cashier will handle daily cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records for customer payments related to property bookings, installments, and other fees. This role includes reconciling cash and bank deposits at the end of each day, updating internal systems, and coordinating with the finance and sales teams to ensure payment accuracy and timely reporting.

The Cashier will respond to customer queries regarding billing, provide clear information on payment status, and follow established policies for refunds, adjustments, and documentation. The role also involves safeguarding cash, complying with company and regulatory guidelines, and supporting periodic audits and financial reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong cash-handling and basic accounting skills, including experience with daily reconciliation, ledger updates, and bank deposits.
• Good numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and common office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word-processing applications).
• Clear communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Relevant experience in cashiering, retail finance, banking operations, or real estate transactions is beneficial.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, depending on experience.
• Integrity, reliability, and the ability to follow company policies and compliance standards.
