Video Editor Intern

About the Role

• This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor at Builder Valley.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content, including podcasts, social media reels, and promotional materials.
• Ensure a coherent narrative aligned with Builder Valley’s brand and tone.
• Organize raw footage.
• Perform video cuts.
• Apply color grading.
• Add motion graphics and titles.
• Prepare content for social media and other digital platforms.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in video editing and timeline management using common editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Skills in video color grading and visual consistency across scenes.
• Skills in motion graphics and graphics, including simple animations, lower thirds, and overlays.
• Strong visual storytelling abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio showcasing video work is highly preferred.
• Interest in builder, startup, or creator communities is beneficial.
