About the Role

The Site WHS Officer will partner with a site operations team in a Fulfillment Center/QC Superstore to execute company safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations. This individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in processes, leveraging lean principles and kaizens, to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for Associates. The Site WHS Officer must build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and influence change by providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct and train Operations Leaders in company safety policies.
• Assist site operations teams in incorporating safety standards.
• Identify best practices and incorporate them into standards to continuously improve company safety policies.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and consistently, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel (preferred)

Qualifications

• Experience in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs or in work health and safety.
• Excellent safety program and relevant safety, environmental, and ergonomic knowledge.
• Ability to demonstrate expertise when working with Operations.
• Master's degree in Health and Safety or a related field (preferred).
