About The Role
This role is the engine of new revenue, identifying and engaging mid-market and enterprise buyers of cloud data-integration and API infrastructure software, and converting those conversations into qualified pipeline. Working from a targeted account list in a fast-growing, well-funded SaaS business, the SDR partners daily with account executives to break into technical and economic buyers — data engineers, platform architects, and VPs of engineering — through disciplined, personalized outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 60+ high-quality outbound touches daily across cold calls, LinkedIn, and personalized email sequences.
- Qualify inbound demo requests and event leads using MEDDICC-lite criteria before routing to account executives.
- Research ICP accounts (Series B-D tech companies, fintech, and healthcare platforms) and build territory plans with Sales Navigator and intent data.
- Book 10-15 qualified meetings per month and own a monthly pipeline-generation quota.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Salesforce — logging activity, notes, and dispositions on every touch.
- Run multi-threaded outreach with sales-engagement tools (Outreach or similar) and iterate on messaging based on reply and connect rates.
- Collaborate with marketing to provide field feedback on campaign performance and emerging buyer objections.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-2 years of experience in SDR/BDR, sales, customer success, or another metrics-driven, quota-carrying role.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong verbal communication and discovery instincts; comfortable cold-calling technical audiences.
- Excellent written skills — able to write concise, relevant emails to senior engineers and executives.
- High ownership and resilience; motivated by clear targets, transparent leaderboards, and fast feedback.
- Working knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and eagerness to master modern GTM tooling.
- Bonus: prior exposure to developer-focused SaaS, API products, or technical buyer personas.
