About the Role

Rainbow Rubber and Plastics, Inc. is a specialty belting and industrial component supplier with over 50 years of experience serving the industrial market. We are seeking an entry-level Sales Representative to support and grow our presence across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. This is an individual contributor role requiring ~50% or more travel within the assigned territory to support existing customers and develop new business opportunities. A company-provided vehicle is included following a probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established customer base while actively pursuing new accounts
• Conduct on-site customer visits, product presentations, and solution-based selling
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate belting and component solutions
• Develop long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Comfortably perform cold calling and prospecting activities
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Remote (Southeast/Mid-Atlantic: VA, NC, SC, GA)
• Full-time

Qualifications

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Mechanically inclined with a problem-solving orientation
• Comfortable balancing new business development with ongoing account management
• Inside Sales professionals seeking to grow into an Outside Sales role are encouraged to apply
• Prior Outside Sales experience is a plus
• Experience in industrial markets is preferred but not required
• High School Diploma (required)
• College Degree (plus, not required)
