Electrical Design Engineer Schematic

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed electrical engineering drawings (Schematic / Control wiring drawings) of electrical systems and components with the CAE-tool COMOS and compilation of complete circuit manuals incl. overviews, bill of materials, etc.
• Design schematic drawings for HV and LV equipment.
• Understanding of engineering and design of Traction Power Supply substations for Rail Electrification systems.
• Performing tasks with quality for electrical drawings and documentation.
• Working as part of a team to ensure technical documentation is produced for major projects.
• Clarification on work packages with Siemens’ internal departments and partners.
• Ability to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of CAE, Electrical CAD, EPLAN tools and standard office software.
• Knowledge of creation of electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of relevant European, International and American Standards.
• Knowledge of engineering processes.
• Good in English language.
• Experience in COMOS program / ELCAD / EPLAN or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical and control design in DC / LV/MV switchgear.
• Experience in project work, preferably in an international project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
