Account Executive

About the Role

Compass Communications is seeking an Account Executive to manage day-to-day client communication and execution, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client visibility and media relationships.
• Track the news cycle.
• Build and maintain strong journalist connections.
• Pitch compelling stories.
• Keep client reporting and event logistics running smoothly.
• Track news to capture client coverage, flag competitor moves, and spot trends.
• Update media databases of journalists, editors, beat reporters, and influencers.
• Actively reach out to journalists to pitch story angles, secure interviews, and follow up on press release dissemination.
• Maintain and update regular status reports, coverage trackers, and meeting minutes.
• Compile comprehensive coverage dossiers and monthly reports with relevant reach metrics.
• Manage the logistics for press meets, familiarization trips (FAM trips), and media rounds.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience working across leading global MNCs, listed companies to start-ups is beneficial for ensuring flexibility and agility.
