Research Executive

About the Role

The Research Executive role is meant to close the gap in answering critical business questions such as which markets to enter next, how competitors are pricing new features, and the actual size of target segments. This role will be close to the founders and go-to-market team of a high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company. You will own the research grunt work essential for making good decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Market sizing
• Competitor scans
• Customer and pricing research pulled from public sources, calls, and existing tools

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
• Familiarity with basic secondary research tools
• Strong written English
• Comfort turning messy inputs into a clean summary

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of experience in research, analytics, consulting, or a related field
• A genuine interest in how software businesses grow and compete
• The judgment to identify incorrect numbers
