Android Software Engineer

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Android Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and experienced professionals interested in Android application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Android applications, mobile user interfaces, API integrations, internal platforms, enterprise applications, and digital solutions.
• Collaborate closely with software, IT, backend, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams.
• Work with technologies such as Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, XML, Jetpack libraries, REST APIs, Room, SQLite, Firebase, Git, testing frameworks, and cloud platforms, based on project and business requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Kotlin and/or Java
• Object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, clean coding, and software development fundamentals.
• Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, emulators, device debugging, build processes, and Android development environments.
• Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents, application lifecycle, permissions, and Android components.
• REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, authorization, API integration, and mobile-backend communication.
• Firebase
• Git, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software development workflows.
• Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into responsive, reliable, scalable, maintainable, secure, and user-friendly Android applications.
• Willingness to work in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Electronics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Android development, mobile application development, Kotlin development, Java development, software engineering, application development, or related technology roles.
• Internships, academic projects, Android projects, Kotlin projects, Java mobile projects, Firebase projects, mobile applications, GitHub projects, hackathons, freelance assignments, startup projects, or open-source contributions will be considered.
• Candidates without previous full-time Android development experience can also apply.
