About the Role
The Architectural Intern will support the design team in developing concept designs, detailed drawings, and presentations for ongoing projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, India, requiring consistent collaboration with architects and designers in the studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural drafting.
- Assist with 3D modeling and visualization.
- Prepare and update project documentation.
- Contribute to design research on materials, sustainability, and local context.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Coordinate with team members on integrating design solutions.
- Help ensure that project outputs align with GNA’s sustainability and contextual design principles.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear visual and written presentation of design ideas.
- Proficiency with architectural drafting and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices, local building materials, and vernacular architecture is an advantage.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
