Electrical Engineer, Mid

About the Role

Support the research, design, development, testing, and integration of electrical equipment, components, and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific applications. Apply foundational knowledge of electrical theory, materials, and system behavior to assist in solving technical problems. Contribute to projects under the guidance of more experienced engineers, perform analyses, support PCB design and testing, and assist with hardware-in-the-loop or real-time system work. Grow your expertise while supporting engineering tasks of increasing complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the research, design, development, testing, and integration of electrical equipment, components, and systems.
• Apply foundational knowledge of electrical theory, materials, and system behavior to assist in solving technical problems.
• Contribute to projects under the guidance of more experienced engineers.
• Perform analyses.
• Support PCB design and testing.
• Assist with hardware-in-the-loop or real-time system work.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• PCB fundamentals and the ability to support design or testing.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Python, C, C++, or MATLAB.
• Knowledge of radar principles, waveforms, or signal processing techniques.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or computer engineering, including in an internship, academic, or professional work environment.
• Experience with signal processing concepts or algorithms.
• Experience with machine learning techniques such as basic CNN or RNN architectures.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing or real-time systems, including in an internship, academic, or professional work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with radar data acquisition or processing from coursework, capstones, or internships.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or microcontroller development.
• Possession of strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Secret clearance.
