  • Surface & Pattern Design: Create original patterns, textures, compositions, and artistic surface treatments for architectural wall and floor applications.
  • Creative Research: Explore design movements, artistic influences, material innovations, forms, and emerging aesthetics.
  • Concept Development: Translate ideas into sketches, 3D models, renderings, and detailed design presentations.
  • Material Exploration: Experiment with marble, natural stone, wood, metal, and innovative material combinations.
  • Prototyping & Development: Work closely with artisans and manufacturing teams to develop samples, refine proportions, and address production challenges.
  • Collection Development: Contribute to cohesive collections with strong visual identities, meaningful narratives, and a consistent design language.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare basic drawings, dimensions, material specifications, and production-ready design details.

Qualifications

  • Students or recent graduates in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related disciplines.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating originality, creativity, and design thinking.
  • Excellent understanding of form, proportion, materials, colours, and textures.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, KeyShot, or similar software.
  • Strong sketching, 3D visualisation, and presentation abilities.
  • Interest in furniture, lighting, sculpture, art, architecture, and contemporary design.
  • Ability to balance creative exploration with manufacturing feasibility.

Preferred Educational Background

We particularly encourage applications from students and graduates of NID, NIFT, MIT Institute of Design, UID, Srishti Manipal Institute, Pearl Academy, and other recognised design institutions.

What We Value Most

A distinctive creative style, curiosity for experimentation, and the ability to develop original designs that move beyond conventional forms.

What You'll Gain

Direct exposure to material-led design, craftsmanship, manufacturing processes, prototyping, and the development of collections for both lifestyle products and architectural applications. Potential full-time opportunity based on performance.
