About the Role
We are a one-of-one coconut water startup preparing to launch in 2027, with huge ambitions for the beverage industry. We’re looking for a creative intern to help shape our content before we introduce the brand to the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
- Find the best moments and build edits with strong hooks, pacing, music, and captions.
- Organize footage in our content database.
- If local, join daytime shoots on Saturdays or Sundays to capture founder, lifestyle, and behind the scenes content.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong short form video editing skills for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Comfortable using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- A good eye for storytelling and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
- Available for 5–10 hours per week, with flexible weekday editing hours.
Qualifications
- NYC or Brooklyn based, with an interest in filming.
- Current student.
- Experience shooting engaging content on an iPhone or camera.
- Interest in wellness, fitness, lifestyle, beverages, or startups.
- Experience creating content for a brand or your own social channels.
Location: NYC or Brooklyn preferred; fully remote candidates welcome for video editing only.
Hours: Part time, 5–10 hours per week.
Compensation: Hourly pay, with flexibility based on experience and scope. Bonus eligible.
