About the Role
This role involves providing pharmacy products and services to customers in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records.
- Assists with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
- Stocks and secures pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
- Enters prescription information and/or fills prescriptions.
- Completes, maintains, and secures paperwork, forms, and required documentation.
- Provides customer service, including acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Operates equipment, such as cash registers, to process customer purchases.
- Receives and stocks merchandise/supplies.
- Organizes and maintains the pharmacy area.
- Maintains the pharmacy area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up displays, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification (Preferred)
