About the Role

The Car Rental Operations Associate is a full-time on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves managing day-to-day rental operations, including handling bookings, coordinating vehicle dispatch and returns, and ensuring accurate documentation for each rental.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day rental operations.
• Handle bookings.
• Coordinate vehicle dispatch and returns.
• Ensure accurate documentation for each rental.
• Interact with customers at the counter and over the phone.
• Address customer inquiries.
• Resolve service issues.
• Provide clear information on rental terms and vehicle options.
• Monitor vehicle availability.
• Support basic fleet checks (fuel, cleanliness, and readiness).
• Collaborate with drivers and other team members to maintain smooth workflows.
• Update records in internal systems.
• Prepare simple reports on utilization and customer feedback.
• Support adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with booking or CRM systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong Operations skills, including coordination of bookings, fleet scheduling, and process adherence.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities.
• Solid Analytical Skills to review data, track vehicle usage, and support basic reporting and problem-solving.
• Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, handle complaints professionally, and ensure a positive rental experience.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field are beneficial.
• Ability to work in shifts is preferred.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail is preferred.
• Ability to uphold safety and compliance standards is preferred.
