Security Dev Ops Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Developer on the Container Security squad, you will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored solutions, managing the deployment and operation of these services in the cloud, and providing top-tier support to our internal users. This role requires strong DevOps expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a collaborative mindset. A passion for solving complex problems and delivering reliable, secure solutions is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing DevSecOps practices, including:
• Scanning repositories for security vulnerabilities
• Early threat modelling
• Security design reviews
• Static code analysis
• Code reviews

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with microservice architectures and Restful API development
• Experience with container tools such as Docker, Podman, Rancher
• Experience on Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments
• Demonstrated development experience using any combination of the following: Java, Python, nodejs, bash scripting, C++, Go
• Experience using centralized source code repositories with version control such as Git
• Understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP stack, subnets, and routing
• Knowledge of Agile development processes
• Effective communication skills & customer focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in building CI/CD pipelines
• Experienced with tuning application performance, as well as writing unit and integration automated tests
• Experience with database technologies such as NoSQL, SQL, database schema design
• Familiar with Swagger, OpenAPI
• Familiarity using container security tools such as Prisma Cloud & AquaSec
