About the Role
The Biologist Intern will support ongoing research and innovation projects by assisting with experimental design, data collection, and analysis in biological domains. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru North and involves working closely with senior scientists and project managers on laboratory and field-based tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting microbiology or ecology-related experiments.
- Preparing samples.
- Maintaining laboratory records.
- Following standardized protocols.
- Contributing to literature reviews.
- Documenting findings.
- Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations for internal teams and external partners.
- Adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Laboratory Skills.
- Microbiology knowledge.
- Understanding of Wildlife and Ecology.
- Research skills, including literature review, data analysis, and scientific documentation.
- Foundational knowledge in biology, biotechnology, or a related life science discipline.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow protocols.
- Commitment to laboratory and field safety practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with basic statistical tools, spreadsheet software, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated curiosity, willingness to learn, and interest in applied research and innovation projects.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant bachelor’s or master’s program is preferred.
