Junior Interior Designer

About the Role

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with space planning for a variety of projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update floor plans, layouts, and interior elevations.
• Support the preparation of construction drawings.
• Assist with selecting finishes, fixtures, and furniture.
• Coordinate design details with senior designers and architects.
• Prepare presentation materials.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to review implementation, take measurements, and support design coordination.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Proficiency in basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Suite).

Qualifications

• Skills in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and coordination.
• Skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals.
• Skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow design guidelines.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative studio environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with team members, vendors, and site personnel.
