MD Radiologist

About the Role

Apoorva Diagnostic & Healthcare is seeking an MD Radiologist for a full-time, on-site position in Bengaluru. The role focuses on performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and contributing to quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiological procedures.
• Review patient histories and collaborate with referring clinicians to guide diagnostic workups.
• Provide clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations.
• Supervise imaging protocols.
• Contribute to quality assurance and safety practices.
• Support the training of junior staff and technicians when needed.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care.
• Adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS.
• Basic IT skills for digital imaging workflows.
• Comfort working with modern radiology equipment.

Qualifications

• Completed MD or DNB in Radiology from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to correlate imaging findings with clinical information.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Commitment to patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Adherence to ethical standards.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and adapt to evolving clinical and technological requirements.
• Prior experience in a hospital or diagnostic center is preferred.
• Subspecialty interest or expertise (e.g., neuro, musculoskeletal, body imaging) is an added advantage.
