Key Responsibilities
- NICU Care
- Manage all babies admitted to NICU.
- Attend daily rounds.
- Follow the daily plan.
- Prepare admission and discharge summaries.
- Ensure clear documentation and communication.
- Perform procedures in NICU under supervision or independently.
- Attending Deliveries
- Attend all in-house deliveries under supervision of the rostered consultant.
- Admit all babies for brief supervision and observation.
- Complete all documentation.
- Post-Natal Ward
- Review all high-risk babies and follow the treatment plan.
- Perform baby examinations and documentation.
- Administer vaccines.
- Participate in and supervise newborn screening.
- Conduct discharge examinations, documentation, and follow-up plans after discussion with consultants.
- Out of Hours
- Attend all out-patient calls and emergencies.
- Discuss treatment plans with the consultant on call and follow.
- Inpatient Paediatric Admission
- Examine, check, prescribe, and manage paediatric inpatient admissions after discussion with the Incharge Consultant.
- Document daily progress and discharge.
- Perform procedures including IV Cannulation.
Qualifications & Tech Stack
- Education: MD/DNB/DCH
- Knowledge and Specific Skills:
- Clinical experience in Paediatrics & Neonatology.
