About the Role
ABM Hospital is hiring a Clinical Dietitian / Nutritionist to design evidence-based nutritional care plans for outpatients and inpatients. The role focuses on antenatal/postnatal nutrition, gestational diabetes, PCOD/PCOS lifestyle management, and therapeutic diets for chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ nutritional status, dietary habits, and medical history during OPD visits.
- Create personalized meal plans for:
- Maternity Care: Trimester-wise maternal nutrition, gestational diabetes, lactation support, and postpartum recovery.
- Women’s Health & Hormonal Care: PCOD/PCOS, thyroid disorders, and weight management.
- Clinical Medicine: Diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and renal diets.
- Conduct inpatient (IPD) dietary rounds and coordinate with the kitchen/canteen team for customized patient meals.
- Provide clear, practical patient education and lifestyle counseling to ensure diet adherence.
- Maintain organized documentation of diet charts and progress logs in the hospital management system.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills: Strong understanding of regional diets, therapeutic meal planning, empathetic patient counseling, and basic computer skills.
- Languages: Telugu, Hindi/Urdu, and English.
- Documentation: Maintain organized documentation of diet charts and progress logs.
Qualifications
- Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (PGDD).
- Experience: 6 months to 3 years in a hospital, maternity center, wellness clinic, or fitness center (Fresh postgraduates with internship experience are eligible).
