About the Role
MOR Design Studio is seeking a passionate and eager Junior Architect to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in projects from initial design stages through to final execution, focusing on creating thoughtful architectural and interior spaces that blend creativity, functionality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing architectural and interior design concepts.
- Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, and working drawings.
- Create 3D models and renders using SketchUp and other visualization software.
- Help prepare mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Understand client requirements and assist in developing suitable design solutions.
- Coordinate with senior architects and interior designers throughout the project.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings, material specifications, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams.
- Visit project sites to understand design implementation.
- Make drawing revisions based on feedback.
- Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them within deadlines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Good understanding of space planning, design principles, and basic construction details.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings.
- Interest in materials, furniture, lighting, colours, and interior detailing.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage assigned tasks.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and improve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or relevant qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
- Basic knowledge of 3D visualization software such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray is an advantage.
