About the Role
This is a full-time Packaging Designer role based in Pune, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves creating concepts and final designs for product packaging across various formats, ensuring designs are both visually appealing and structurally functional.
Key Responsibilities
- Create concepts and final designs for product packaging.
- Collaborate with marketing teams.
- Work with customers and internal production teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
- Review samples and proofs.
- Make revisions based on feedback.
- Stay updated on packaging trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
- Recommend improvements and innovative solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Packaging Design and Product Design skills.
- Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability in corrugated, wooden, and plywood packaging.
- Skills in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / IronCAD.
- Proficiency in design software and concepts.
- Experience with industry-standard design knowledge of corrugated and wooden packaging processes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret briefs and technical specifications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing packaging and graphic design work is beneficial.
- Experience working with packaging companies or industrial packaging is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainable materials and packaging regulations is an added advantage.
