Infrastructure & Technical Support Intern

About the Role

Kasplo is seeking a curious and motivated Infrastructure & Technical Support Intern to join their team in Bengaluru. This internship offers hands-on experience with Linux systems, email delivery infrastructure, and technical customer support.

Key Responsibilities

IT & System Administration

• Set up and troubleshoot employee laptops, software, and system-related issues.
• Assist with office internet, Wi-Fi, and networking.
• Manage IT assets, software access, and basic system configurations.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and maintain infrastructure documentation.

Email Infrastructure & Operations

• Monitor and support email delivery infrastructure.
• Work with SMTP, MTAs, DNS, and email delivery systems.
• Analyze logs, queues, errors, bounces, and delivery responses.
• Assist with server monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Learn and work with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, IPs, and domains.

Technical Customer Support

• Track and resolve technical support requests through Freshdesk.
• Troubleshoot customer issues related to SMTP, APIs, and email delivery.
• Analyze logs to identify potential root causes.
• Communicate technical findings clearly and escalate complex issues when required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Linux, command-line tools, and computer networking.
• Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, or SMTP is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work with real-world systems.

Good to Have

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Basic Shell scripting or Python knowledge.
• Understanding of APIs and webhooks.
• Familiarity with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Exposure to Linux servers, monitoring, or ticketing tools.

Internship Details

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Job Type: Full-Time Internship
• Duration: 3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
• Joining: Immediate
• Full-Time Opportunity: Performance-based conversion to Infrastructure & Technical Support Engineer, with a potential CTC of ₹3 LPA.
