About the Role
As a Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Greeting in HOBOKEN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will be a welcoming, visible presence for tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime, Monday-Friday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
- Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments, issue visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests.
- Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and shift communications while providing professional support to building occupants and management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
