Founding AI Engineer (Intern)

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern to build real AI systems that find prospects, write outreach, and drive pipeline, not just experiments. At Outmate, you will ship systems used by founders to generate revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that find, write, and send outbound campaigns.
• Work directly on real Go-To-Market (GTM) workflows.
• Integrate tools like APIs, CRMs, scraping layers, and LLM pipelines.
• Turn messy signals (job changes, funding, intent data) into actionable outreach.
• Ship features that founders and GTM teams use daily.

What this is NOT

• Not a “learn and shadow” internship.
• Not prompt engineering experiments without outcomes.
• Not building side demos that no one uses.

What you’ll learn (by doing)

• How real AI systems are built beyond ChatGPT wrappers.
• How GTM actually works (pipeline > vanity metrics).
• How to go from idea → shipped product in days, not months.
• How to think like a builder, not just an engineer.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• You can code (Python / JS preferred).
• You’ve built something real (even small projects count).
• You’re curious about AI + business, not just models.
• You care about shipping fast over being perfect.
• Bonus: experience with APIs, scraping, automation tools, or LLM frameworks.
