Social Media Intern

About the Role

The Layered Studio is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our team. This role involves developing and managing content for social media platforms, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of visual aesthetics, enjoys content creation, and stays curious about the latest social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
• Create engaging content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Research current social media trends, formats, sounds, and content opportunities.
• Assist with writing captions, hooks, copy, and creative content.
• Research relevant hashtags, keywords, and audience trends.
• Support the creation of Instagram posts, stories, reels, and other social media content.
• Assist in developing creative concepts aligned with the brand's visual identity.
• Research competitors, brands, and industry trends for content inspiration.
• Monitor social media performance and assist in preparing basic content insights.
• Collaborate with the team on creative campaigns, brand collaborations, and content development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, Media, Design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Good understanding of visual aesthetics, content trends, and brand communication.
• Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, or similar platforms.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and visual storytelling.
• Ability to understand brand identity and create content that feels consistent and engaging.

• Location: Work From Home (WFH)
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 Days a Week)
• Certificate: Provided upon successful completion
