Video Editor (App)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and efficient Video Editor to produce engaging short-form video content, primarily reels for the 1% Club App. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos and reels for the 1% Club App.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, polished, and easy-to-consume videos.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, sound effects, and other visual elements where required.
• Maintain a fast turnaround time without compromising on quality.
• Work closely with the content team to understand briefs and execute edits efficiently.
• Ensure consistency in editing quality and visual style across videos.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proven experience editing short-form videos, particularly Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar formats.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention in short-form content.
• Ability to edit quickly and manage multiple videos with tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of captions, audio editing, and basic motion graphics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback quickly.
• Willingness to work from our Bangalore office.

Qualifications

• Candidates must share a portfolio of previously edited short-form videos.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical editing assignment.
