Pick Packer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Pick Packer role based in Mangaluru. The Pick Packer will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory based on customer orders, packing them securely, and preparing orders for dispatch. The role involves using handheld devices or systems to track orders, maintaining cleanliness and safety within the workspace, and collaborating with warehouse and delivery teams. The position requires consistent adherence to operational procedures to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and meet Blinkit’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately select items from inventory based on customer orders.
• Pack items securely and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Check product quality.
• Verify item codes.
• Organize stock in designated areas.
• Ensure timely order processing.
• Use handheld devices or systems to track orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the workspace.
• Collaborate with warehouse and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately pick, pack, and label orders, with strong attention to detail and basic numeracy.
• Comfort with using handheld scanners or simple digital tools to manage inventory and order tracking.
• Good physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move packages safely throughout the shift.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic communication skills in English and/or local language to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mangaluru in a fast-paced environment, including possible weekend or shift work.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
