About the Role
Artificial Intelligence (@AI Media) creates clear, practical content about AI launches, research, and tools for operators, founders, marketers, and builders. We publish a weekly brief and short-form video to help professionals stay informed about AI.
We are hiring a Miami-based video creator responsible for the entire video production process, from concept to publication. This role involves pitching, scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing short explainer videos on weekly AI news, and using performance data to improve future content.
Key Responsibilities
- Pitch video ideas related to AI launches, research, and tools.
- Write concise scripts understandable to non-technical professionals.
- Shoot video content (on-camera or behind-the-scenes) at our Miami space or on location.
- Edit videos for vertical and horizontal formats, including adding captions, graphics, and sound.
- Publish content across our channels and monitor performance metrics.
- Integrate feedback and data to enhance video quality week over week.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- A portfolio showcasing short-form videos created from start to finish.
- Strong editing skills using professional editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Ability to explain technical topics simply and accurately.
- Genuine interest in AI and its practical applications in the workplace.
- Reside in Miami and able to work in person.
Nice to have
- Comfort with on-camera presentation.
- Experience with motion graphics or After Effects.
- Existing personal following or audience.
