Intern, Junior Architect, Interior designer

Studio Suba is a multidisciplinary design practice working across architecture, interior, furniture, and product design. The studio focuses on creating thoughtful, experience-driven spaces. About the Role

This full-time, role is based in the Pune Division and is suitable for an intern, junior architect, or interior designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with space planning.
• Developing architectural and interior design concepts.
• Preparing construction and presentation drawings.
• Conducting site visits.
• Supporting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection.
• Creating mood boards.
• Helping with material and product research.
• Collaborating with senior designers on design development.
• Coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Helping maintain project documentation and drawings.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and presentation drawings using relevant design and CAD software.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of visualization/graphic software.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Interior Design.
• Skills in Space Planning and FF&E selection.
• Relevant academic background in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field (student or recent graduate welcome).
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
• Interest in multidisciplinary design, materials research, and contemporary design trends.
