About the Opportunity
STEMx India is seeking creative, talented, and dedicated Book Design & Layout Interns to support the development of educational book series focused on Computer Science, Robotics, Coding, and Artificial Intelligence. This is a short-term, fast-paced opportunity for individuals who can contribute immediately, work collaboratively, and deliver high-quality results within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design professional, visually engaging layouts for educational books.
- Format and organize content, illustrations, diagrams, activities, and learning materials.
- Create and refine graphics, icons, visual elements, and page designs.
- Maintain consistent typography, alignment, colors, and design standards.
- Collaborate closely with the existing content and design team.
- Incorporate feedback, make corrections, and finalize book layouts.
- Prepare high-quality, print-ready PDF files and editable design files.
- Complete assigned deliverables within the project deadline of 20 November 2026.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Ability to work with AI-assisted design and illustration tools.
- Understanding of graphic design, typography, page composition, and visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Students, fresh graduates, freelance designers, and creative professionals are welcome.
- Good attention to detail, creativity, and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work from the Bengaluru office until project completion.
- Prior experience in book design, educational publishing, textbook layouts, or children's learning materials will be an added advantage.
