About the Role
This role is responsible for pre-commissioning checks, start-up tests, load bank tests, auto-start changeover (AMF) tests, and protection relay checks. The individual will troubleshoot faults, coordinate fixes, attend commissioning meetings, prepare documentation, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-commissioning checks and start-up tests.
- Conduct load bank tests.
- Conduct auto-start changeover (AMF) tests.
- Conduct protection relay checks.
- Troubleshoot faults found during testing.
- Coordinate fixes with the installation team, vendors, and electrical contractors.
- Attend commissioning meetings.
- Prepare test plans.
- Prepare test reports.
- Prepare handover documents.
- Initiate actions to close punch points.
- Provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure safety procedures (LOTO, permits to work) are followed on site.
- Follow the industry's staged commissioning process and customer testing standards.
