Sanitation worker

About the Role

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of production and common areas within a garment factory. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Delhi Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean floors, sanitary facilities, break rooms, and potentially areas with food or beverage supply.
• Properly dispose of waste.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene standards and safety guidelines.
• Report any irregularities or hazards to the responsible parties.
• Support the implementation of hygiene concepts.
• Participate in training sessions on safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Hygiene and Cleaning Competence: Practical experience in hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection. Willingness to adhere to strict cleanliness and safety standards.
• Food and Beverage Safety: Basic knowledge in Food Safety and handling areas with Food & Beverage supply is desirable, particularly regarding hygienic work practices.
• Communication and Training: Reliable communication skills and openness to training and practical instruction in operational procedures and safety regulations.
• Personal Attributes: Reliability, physical resilience, meticulous work ethic, and willingness to work in shifts are advantageous.
• Additional Requirements: Initial professional experience in cleaning or hygiene is desirable. Basic knowledge of English or a locally relevant language is advantageous, but not mandatory.
