About the Role
- Review and abstract clinical information from medical records to support risk adjustment and quality programs.
- Work helps ensure accurate documentation, improve data quality, enhance health plan performance metrics, and contribute to better healthcare outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Synopsize important information from patient records for accuracy.
- Review medical records and abstract necessary information to close the gap on the quality measure.
- Keep abreast of the guidelines and updates.
- Comply with confidentiality standards and HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Perform other tasks and projects as needed by chart operations.
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proven attention to detail.
- Proven good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Qualifications
- Graduation from Life Sciences Background / Medical Allied.
- Internal applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including time in role guidelines and not being on active CAP or disciplinary action.
