Shop Operator

About the Role

• Immediate need for a Shop Operator, 1st shift, located in Broken Arrow, OK.
• This position is with ChampionX, which was acquired by SLB on July 16, 2025. Employment will begin with ChampionX and transition to SLB.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair products such as pumps, motors, gas separators, and protectors used in the oil and gas capturing process.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; notify supervisor of any issues in the manufacturing process that may impact safety.
• Follow defined work instructions.
• Use hands and power tools to assemble components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement culture.
• Work under limited supervision, usually within a team environment.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• English fluency (read, write, speak).
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and/or overhead cranes.
• 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• This is a safety-sensitive role and may be subject to drug testing.
• Immigration sponsorship is not offered for this role.

Physical Demands

• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and safety glasses.
• May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, and climb.
• Requires visual and hearing acuity.
• Work occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
• Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, or exposure to chemicals.
• Atmospheric conditions may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
• Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
