About the Role

The Associate Agency Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The position focuses on recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team of insurance agents to achieve business targets and expand the agency network.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying prospective agents.
• Conducting interviews.
• Coordinating training and mentoring to improve sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
• Setting performance goals.
• Monitoring sales activities.
• Supporting agents in client meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with branch and regional teams to execute sales campaigns.
• Tracking performance metrics.
• Driving consistent growth in premium and policy issuance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Comfort with using CRM or sales management systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and target achievement.
• Team management and mentoring skills to recruit, train, and support insurance agents in meeting performance goals.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present insurance products clearly and handle client queries professionally.
• Basic analytical and planning skills to track sales performance, interpret data, and plan activities to improve results.
• Relevant experience in insurance, banking, or financial services sales is preferred, especially in agency or channel development.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is desirable.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram.
