We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance / Accounting / Business Analyst to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial operations, analyzing business performance, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support effective business decisions. This position involves reviewing financial data, monitoring business expenses, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and analyze financial and business data.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and business performance summaries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting documentation.
- Review financial transactions and assist with account reconciliations.
- Identify financial trends, discrepancies, and potential business risks.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Analyze business operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to support business objectives.
- Ensure financial information is organized, accurate, and handled confidentially.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and business analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
- Familiarity with accounting software or financial reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
