About the Role
Polterpumps is seeking a full-time, on-site Purchasing Officer to manage end-to-end purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions.
- Prepare and track purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate procurement records.
- Source and evaluate suppliers.
- Compare quotations.
- Support contract negotiations.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Coordinate with internal teams on material requirements.
- Resolve delivery or quality issues with vendors.
- Support continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
- Maintain compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to timely production and project execution.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Experience with vendor and contract negotiation.
- Sound analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze pricing, delivery terms, and supplier performance.
- Proficiency with basic procurement and inventory management tools or ERP systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or industrial products.
