About the Role
This is a Production Technician role with a focus on SMT Assembly & Testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Run pick-and-place machines, reflow oven, and stencil printer to assemble PCBs.
- Apply solder paste, load feeders, set up jobs, and monitor production runs.
- Hand-solder through-hole parts and perform rework.
- Inspect boards for solder defects, missing parts, and incorrect orientation.
- Test assembled PCBs using a multimeter, power supply, and test firmware.
- Log test results and report faulty boards.
- Assist in assembling and testing complete PlaceStation machines before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.
- Assist with weekly component stock audits.
Qualifications & Tech Stack
- Diploma or B.Sc/BE in Electronics or a similar field.
- Proficient with soldering and basic tools like a multimeter.
- Ability to read component values and identify SMD parts.
- Careful, patient, and detail-oriented.
- Bonus: Experience with SMT lines, reflow, or PCB testing.
