About the Role
The Dixieline Lumber & Home Centers, owned by Builders FirstSource, offer complete customer service to homeowners and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets customers and receives payments.
- Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Packages customer purchases.
- Provides product information, location, and general store knowledge.
- Directs customers to product pick-up points.
- Opens and closes out till.
- Accurately documents all transactions.
- Makes accurate change.
- Verifies credit cards and checks.
- Balances receipts.
- Assists in pricing and stocking inventory.
- Assists in display preparation and maintenance.
- Maintains quality store presentation.
- Participates in annual physical inventory activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Six (6) months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
