About the Role
SMC Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time, on-site Life Insurance Team Leader in Delhi, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a team of life insurance advisors/sales representatives.
- Setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to compliance and quality standards.
- Guiding the team on product offerings.
- Overseeing client onboarding.
- Reviewing proposals.
- Supporting the closure of sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize processes.
- Providing regular training and coaching.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and policy retention.
- Reporting key metrics and forecasting sales.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives to drive growth in the life insurance portfolio.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Insurance, particularly in life insurance products and regulatory requirements.
- Effective Team Management skills, including mentoring, performance tracking, and coaching.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues, and maintain client relationships.
- Proven Sales skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and consultative selling.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (beneficial).
- Experience in brokerage or insurance distribution (beneficial).
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities (beneficial).
- Clear, professional communication skills in English and local languages.
