About the Role
This role focuses on network engineering, encompassing L1 and L2 support for Cisco infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware-level troubleshooting on all Cisco products.
- Troubleshoot and manage VLAN, VTP, STP, VSS, VDC, and VPC configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot network stacks.
- Manage and troubleshoot OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PBR, HSRP, and ACL configurations.
- Perform IOS/SUP upgradation on 5K/7K/9K/4500/6500/ASR platforms.
- Troubleshoot SDWAN, ISE/DNAC, ACI, and Wireless infrastructure.
- Conduct troubleshooting of complex LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Perform root cause analysis on network incidents.
- Troubleshoot license issues on all Cisco platforms.
- Troubleshoot IP link related issues, including link failure, configuration mismatches, latency, and packet drops.
- Implement L2 technologies including VLANs, VTP, STP, RSTP, and MSTP.
- Apply knowledge of IP Addressing, Subnetting, ARP, OSI, and TCP/IP models.
- Implement routing protocols including RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
- Configure and troubleshoot route redistribution between Static, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
- Configure and support LAN protocols on Cisco Switches (Layer 2, 3 & Multi-Layer).
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Ether-channel, IP Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP), ACL's, NAT, VLAN, STP, VTP, and HSRP.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Complete knowledge of all Cisco devices.
- Hardware-level troubleshooting knowledge on all Cisco products.
- Familiarity with:

- Familiarity with:

- ACL
- Hands-on experience with:
- IOS/SUP upgradation

- FTD/FMC/SDWAN/ISE/DNAC/Wireless controller
- Knowledge of SDWAN, ISE/DNAC, ACI, and Wireless.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting IP link related issues.
- Expertise in implementing L2 technologies including VLANs, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP.
- Good knowledge of IP Addressing, Subnetting, ARP, OSI, and TCP/IP models.
- Expertise in implementing routing protocols RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
- Experience in configuration and support of LAN protocols on Cisco Switches (Layer 2, 3 & Multi-Layer).
- Experience with designing, deploying, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, Ether-channel, IP Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP), ACL's, NAT, VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
- CCNP or equivalent certification.
- Certifications relevant to the services provided (carry additional weightage).
- Good communication skills.
- Passed out between 2010 and 2023.
- Any degree.
