Human Resources Intern

About the Role

This is a 6-month, full-time Human Resources Intern position at PrepMed NEET in Hazra More, Kolkata. A full-time role may be offered post-internship based on performance. A competitive stipend will be offered. The intern will have Tuesdays off.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must have own laptop.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and comfort working with spreadsheets and HR-related software is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

• Assisting in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and managers.
• Conducting 1st round of interviews.

HR Operations

• Initiating documentation and onboarding process of employees.
• Providing proper HR Orientation.
• Assisting in addressing and resolving employee concerns.
• Other HR Operational work.

Audits & Other Operational Works

• Conducting various audits as per requirement (e.g., library, audit, IT audit).
• Maintaining proper data and documents of students, employees, etc., as and when required.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in developing a career in HR.
• Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including the ability to learn and apply organizational guidelines.
• Basic skills in Personnel Management, such as maintaining records and supporting employee-related processes.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
