Store Operations Associate

About the Role

CubeSmart is looking for a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within their district, focusing on customer service and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions.
• Deliver a standout customer experience through face-to-face interactions and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, and manage the leasing process.
• Accept payments utilizing the Point-of-Sale System (POS).
• Complete daily bank deposits.
• Make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.

Property Maintenance

• Perform daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds.
• Open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and cleaning out storage units.
• Ensure a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines, including restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, storage doors, and office space.

• MS Office products

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
• A self-driven mindset with a strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation: $18.45 - $20.17 per hour plus bonus opportunities.

Some locations may require Sunday hours.
