About the Role
The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dibrugarh East, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The person in this role will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including providing information on courses, test-prep programs, fee structures, and learning pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to walk-in, phone, and online inquiries.
- Conduct counseling sessions.
- Follow up on leads.
- Support students in selecting suitable programs based on their academic goals.
- Collaborate with center staff to manage admissions documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in the system.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Participate in outreach activities.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to uphold AESL’s “Student First” philosophy.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills.
- Customer Service skills.
- Sales skills.
- Education-related understanding, preferably of the test-prep and competitive exam ecosystem.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to hybrid work arrangements.
- Ability to communicate in local languages and English.
