Architectural Designer, Intern

About the Role

Essentia Skills India Private Limited is a growing startup focused on building practical, industry-relevant skills for the built environment and design sectors. This is a full-time, remote Autodesk Revit Intern role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation of building and interior projects using Revit and related tools.
• Create and update 2D and 3D models.
• Prepare drawings and views.
• Assist in Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows.
• Organize project files and templates.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to incorporate design changes.
• Maintain model accuracy.
• Support quality checks and basic clash reviews.
• Research design standards.
• Support presentation materials.
• Document processes to improve internal efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Autodesk Revit proficiency for architectural or interior modeling.
• Basic family creation and project setup in Revit.
• Foundational understanding of building design, construction drawings, and BIM concepts.
• Interest in digital design workflows.
• Ability to interpret sketches and design inputs and translate them into accurate models.
• Ability to maintain organized project documentation.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or visualization software is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate remotely and respond constructively to feedback.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to manage time independently.
• Able to meet project deadlines.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to startup culture, and take on varied responsibilities.
