About the Role
3 Day Blinds is a national retailer and manufacturer of custom-made blinds, shades, draperies, and shutters. As a Design Consultant, you will meet clients in their homes, help them design beautiful, custom window treatments, and guide them to a confident buying decision, all in a single visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients in their homes to understand their needs and recommend custom window treatments.
- Create design solutions tailored to each client's style and budget.
- Guide clients through the buying process and close sales in the home.
- Manage your own schedule, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Build additional business through referrals and local networking.
- Deliver an exceptional experience from first visit to final installation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Reliable transportation and comfortable traveling locally.
- Flexible to work at least one weekend day.
- Laptop, smartphone, and product samples will be provided.
Qualifications
- A natural people person who enjoys building relationships and helping others make decisions.
- Motivated by performance and excited by uncapped earning potential.
- Confident, coachable, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Organized and able to manage multiple appointments across the week.
- Backgrounds in sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, and other fast-paced client-facing roles are beneficial.
- No prior design experience required.
