About the Role
Medinex Workforce is looking for interns to build and test small AI-powered features. This internship offers an opportunity to learn how language models are used for real business tasks and how to measure their output.
Key Responsibilities
- Build prototypes using Python and LLM APIs (e.g., resume summarisers, data extractors, simple chatbots).
- Write, test, and refine prompts for accurate and consistent outputs.
- Evaluate AI answers for accuracy, consistency, and bias, and record results.
- Prepare, clean, and label sample data for prototype testing.
- Explore automation ideas such as resume parsing, email drafting, and text classification.
- Train and test basic machine learning models with Scikit-learn where needed.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control.
- Document experiments and findings, and share progress in daily check-ins and weekly reviews.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of basic machine learning concepts (training, testing, overfitting).
- Curiosity about how prompts influence language model outputs.
- Habit of testing ideas and recording outcomes.
- Clear written English for documentation.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
- Full-time availability for the internship period.
Nice to have
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn.
- Exposure to LangChain, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- A GitHub project, Kaggle notebook, or AI experiment.
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS, IT, Maths, Statistics), MCA, M.Sc, or related streams.
- Self-taught learners with a project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome.
