Zscaler SME Engineer

About the Role

The Security Consultant determines security architecture requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The role requires understanding of department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Decisions are made regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, requiring minimal direction and receiving guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies.
• Develop security requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
• Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software, adhering to industry standards.
• Advanced Zscaler SME in both ZIA and ZPA.
• Policy building, operational and troubleshooting analysis.
• Must fully understand end-to-end operations and troubleshooting processes.
• App connector deployments and ZDX overview and understanding.
